Water Bath Canning Experience: Preserving the Seasons


Join us for a hands-on, intimate experience where you’ll learn the art of water bath canning and the timeless tradition of preserving the flavors of the season. Under the expert guidance of a seasoned instructor, you’ll master the steps of safely canning jams, jellies, and pickled delights, all while savoring the process of turning fresh, locally sourced ingredients into jars of homemade goodness.

Set in your warm and welcoming environment, this workshop combines the science of preservation with the joy of creating something truly personal. As you carefully prepare your jars and process your preserves, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to capture the essence of each season and enjoy it long after the harvest has passed.

No canning session would be complete without a tasting. After the jars are sealed, we’ll sample some preserves along with a charcuterie board inspired by your creations, offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your labor while surrounded by friends, family, or colleagues.  This experience is perfect for food lovers, team-building, or celebrating special occasions, this is an experience that brings people together over the joy of making and sharing.

Cost: $300 per person
Workshop Details: Each participant will create a seasonal preserve, such as pear-cranberry chutney or tomato jam, and learn the essential steps of water bath canning. Throughout the session, we’ll cover the safety protocols and best practices of canning, providing you with the knowledge and confidence to preserve on your own. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with three jars of your handcrafted preserve, ready to enjoy or share. Instructor provides all the necessary ingredients and equipment. Host provides participants and a space to make in!
