Food. Farming. Hospitality. Place.

Welcome—

I'm glad you're here.

Chicken Librarian was created for people who believe there is a slower, richer, more connected way to live.

Here you'll find stories from remarkable farms, educational workshops rooted in traditional skills, thoughtfully curated gatherings, and unforgettable experiences that invite you to reconnect with food, farming, hospitality, and place.

Whether we're making cheese on a working dairy, gathering around a harvest table, or learning from the people preserving rural traditions, every experience is designed to help you feel more connected, more capable, and inspired to keep exploring. With a background in library leadership and a long practice of rural living, seasonal skills, and hospitality—including two decades hosting guests at a Catskills fly-fishing resort—I work across librarianship and creative practice to design experiences rooted in story, place, and connection.
