About Chicken Librarian.

At Chicken Librarian, the vision is to bring creative, place-based concepts into reality. Based out of a historic homestead in East Tennessee, the company designs distinctive gatherings and meaningful collaborations that bring private families, local artisans, and rural hospitality brands together.

Our company is built on the belief that some of life's most meaningful moments happen around shared tables, in well-loved spaces, and through traditions passed quietly between generations. Rooted in the core pillars of Food, Farming, Hospitality, and Place, we curate environments that encourage people to connect deeply with the land and with one another.

Our Approach

  • Distinctive Design & Curation: We shape the complete aesthetic and atmosphere of each gathering, pairing beautiful visual styling with regional food and experiences.

  • Seasonal & Regional Focus: Every menu, tablescape, and itinerary is built around what is fresh and local to the area, prioritizing natural rhythms and local culture.

  • Creative Direction & Hosting: We provide complete creative oversight and intuitive on-site hosting, managing the moving parts of the day so that our hosts—whether private families or hospitality partners—can simply slow down and be present.

Past Concepts & Creative Showcase

  • A round serving platter with blue floral design containing slices of melon and a salad with blueberries, sliced meats, and cheese, garnished with mint leaves. To the left of the platter, there is a bunch of mint leaves, and to the right, a pink flower in a small glass vase. A red and white checkered napkin is on the lower right corner and a fork and knife are on the left side of the image. The background is a wooden table.

    Curated Gatherings
