Slow Living, Rooted in Place

Farm-to-table retreats designed to reconnect you with the land, local culture, and yourself.

Slow-Living Retreats

Immersive, intimate farm-to-table experiences in beautiful places.

These retreats unfold beyond my farmstead and outside the walls of traditional retreat centers.

Each gathering is crafted in partnership with the land, the people, and the food culture of the place we visit.

Every retreat is an invitation to slow down, return to your roots, and experience what it feels like to live closer to the earth — even if only for a few days.

WHAT MAKES THESE RETREATS DIFFERENT

A Return to Yourself

A small group staying in a thoughtfully chosen home — an airy coastal cottage, a mountain cabin, a restored farmhouse, a boutique inn tucked away on a quiet street.
We step inside the local rhythm of that place, letting the landscape and seasons guide us.

Together we explore:

  • small family dairies and creameries

  • simple, grounding skills like cheese making, bread shaping, or harvesting

  • visits to working farms

  • simple seasonal cooking taught by local chefs

  • photography walks through woods, markets, or quiet streets

  • unhurried mornings with French-press coffee and handmade pastries

  • slow dinners built from local ingredients

  • time for rest, reflection, and grounding rituals

  • visits to local farm markets

THE PHILOSOPHY

Slow living isn’t something you pack in your suitcase.
It’s something you step into.

My retreats follow three guiding principles:

1. Rooted in Place

Local food, regional craft, cultural traditions, and the natural landscape shape everything we do—from meals to workshops to quiet moments of reflection.

Travel with intention.
These aren’t resort retreats or wellness getaways. They’re immersive, place-based experiences rooted in the culture, food, and makers of the region.

2. Hands-On + Heart-Led

Cooking with local ingredients.
Learning from artisans.
Spending time outdoors.
Creating something with your hands.
The kind of experiences that stay with you long after you return home.

Always different, always local.
We don’t bring home with us—we learn from the place we’re in.

3. Space to Breathe

Thoughtful schedules with room for rest.
Gentle workshops, not rushed itineraries.
Time to wander, read, sit with the season, or simply be.

Small, thoughtful, and slow.
Every detail is curated: the lodging, the food, the workshops, the gifting, the pacing.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE

A retreat may include:

  • Seasonally inspired meals using local produce and regional flavors

  • Hands-on workshops such as cooking, preserving, herbal crafting, journaling, or simple creative practices

  • Time outdoors exploring the landscape—coastlines, forests, meadows, gardens, farms

  • Cultural immersion through markets, artisans, or local traditions

  • Quiet, reflective moments built into each day

  • Connection with a small group of like-minded people seeking a slower, more grounded way of living

The exact experience shifts with every retreat—just like the seasons themselves.

WHY I HOST THEM

Travel has always been a way to come back to myself:
new landscapes, new foods, new rhythms, new perspectives.

These retreats are a way to offer that same clarity and reconnection to others—through slowness, simplicity, and the grounding beauty of a place fully experienced.

I don’t believe in over-scheduled travel.
I believe in meaningful moments.

If you’re longing for a reset, a shift, or a breath, these retreats are created for that.

The Process:

1. Location
I handpick small towns, farms, and unique properties with deep local culture and farm-to-table values.

2. Curated Experience
I partner with local chefs, makers, farmers, and guides to create immersive, hands-on workshops and experiences.

3. Gather the group
Small, intentional circles of women—usually 6–10—come together for a simple, meaningful slow-living experience.
