Artisanal Canning Workshop: Preserving the Seasons


Experience a hands-on, intimate workshop where you’ll learn the art of water-bath canning and the timeless tradition of preserving seasonal flavors. Under the expert guidance of a seasoned instructor, you’ll master the steps of safely canning jams, jellies, and pickled delights, all while savoring the process of turning fresh, locally sourced ingredients into jars of homemade goodness.

Set in your warm and welcoming environment, this workshop combines the science of preservation with the joy of creating something truly personal. As you carefully prepare your jars and process your preserves, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to capture the essence of each season and enjoy it long after the harvest has passed.

No canning session would be complete without a tasting. After the jars are sealed, we’ll sample some preserves along with a charcuterie board inspired by your creations, offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your labor while surrounded by your favorite people.  Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply gathering to create something beautiful together, this experience is designed to bring people closer over the joy of making, sharing, and savoring homemade goodness.

Small Group Experience (5–10 guests)

  • $300 per person
    A warm, communal gathering — minimum 5; maximum 10.

Host provides the space. All ingredients, equipment, and setup are included.

  • Extended session (+45 minutes) — $7

  • Additional Jars/Preserves (To Take Home) –$10–$20 per jar

Travel: Included up to 50 miles from 37849; beyond that $1/mile round trip
If an overnight stay is required, host provides accommodations.

  • Remaining balance due 7 days prior to the workshop

Cancellation Policy:

  • 14+ days before: full refund

  • 7–13 days before: 50% refund

  • Under 7 days: no refund (one complimentary reschedule included)
