Seasonal Preserving Workshop: Canning & Preserving the Harvest
Immerse yourself in the timeless tradition of preserving the harvest through this hands-on workshop exploring the art and science of water-bath canning. Together, you’ll learn how to transform seasonal fruits and vegetables into jams, jellies, pickles, and other small-batch preserves while discovering the traditional methods that have helped families carry the flavors of each season forward.
Hosted in a thoughtfully prepared setting, this workshop combines the science of preservation with the joy of creating something lasting by hand. As you prepare your jars and process your preserves, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to safely capture seasonal flavors and enjoy them long after the harvest has passed.
No canning session would be complete without a tasting. After the jars are sealed, we’ll sample some preserves along with a charcuterie board inspired by your creations, offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your labor while offering the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your labor through thoughtful conversation, seasonal pairings, and the shared experience of making something together. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply gathering to create something beautiful together, this experience is designed to bring people closer over the joy of making, sharing, and savoring homemade goodness.
Each workshop is thoughtfully designed as a small-group food experience—simple, intentional, and rooted in the pleasure of creating, preserving, and sharing food traditions.
